Who are we?
Anonymous. The workers who wrote these
publications live in urban India. As they
work, they are daily analyzing what Indian
people believe and what they value in their
lives--learning what motivates their
decisions and most captivates their hearts.
They are anonymous because in India
evangelism by foreigners is illegal. The
authors intend to stay and continue to learn
and teach Indian Christians to reach out to
their own countrymen, and to share the
Gospel in a way that will resonate with the
hearts of unbelieving Hindus, Muslims,
Sikhs, Jains, Parsees and more.
When East meets West.
When East meets West, cultural differences
are both obvious and subtle, and are rarely
easy to bridge--but not impossible. We hope
that our publications will help to bridge the

result of research, relationships, insight,
and we hope, the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Our hope it that it provides the reader with
tools to discover for themselves the cultural
bridges and barriers to sharing the Gospel
with those men and women God has put into
their lives.
To begin...even begin...to understand the
world view of people from other cultures
requires more than a tract and a chance
meeting. It requires intentional, honest,
committed relationships if there is to be
hope for sharing the Gospel in a way it will
"connect" with their hearts. It requires a
personal intimate relationship with Jesus
and personal holiness.

into their world views, perhaps they will have the opportunity to
share the Gospel with them in a culturally relevant way.
We also hope that what we publish will be beneficial to
other workers, both Indian and foreign, who live and invest
their lives in the amazing, challenging, and constantly changing
Indian subcontinent.
